The most important thing to know: VideoSnap processes all files locally in your browser using advanced in-browser technology. Your video and image files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers. We do not have access to your files at any point during processing.

• File metadata, including names, sizes, EXIF data, or GPS coordinates
• Processing results or output files

• Account credentials, because we have no account system

3. How File Processing Works

All video and image processing on VideoSnap is performed using browser-based technology.

As of April 24, 2026, VideoSnap supports 11 tools: video conversion, compression, trimming, rotate and flip, video to GIF, MP4 to MP3, speed adjustment, frame extraction, reverse video, image conversion, and background removal.

• The file is loaded into your browser's local memory.
• Processing is performed entirely on your device.
• The processed output is generated locally and offered for download.
• No file data is transmitted over the internet.
• When you close or refresh the page, file data is cleared from memory.

4. Information We May Collect

While we do not collect personal data, we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the service. This data contains no personally identifiable information.

• Page views: which tool pages are visited, without personal identifiers
• Browser type: general browser and device information for compatibility improvements
• Referral source: how visitors arrive at our site

5. Cookies

VideoSnap uses minimal cookies necessary for basic website functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing cookies. Processing assets may be cached in your browser storage for performance and limited offline use after a page has loaded, but this contains no personal data.

VideoSnap may load processing components from a CDN on first use. The CDN may log standard access information such as IP address and timestamp. After initial load, components are often cached locally, though future requests can occur because of cache expiration, version updates, browser settings, or manual cache clearing.

Since your files never leave your device, the risk of data breach through our service is effectively zero. Files are processed in an isolated browser environment and cleared from memory when you close the page. We recommend using HTTPS, which our site enforces, for web browsing.

8. Children's Privacy

VideoSnap does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, this policy applies universally.
