3. How File Processing Works

All video and image processing on VideoSnap is performed using advanced browser-based technology. When you upload a file to VideoSnap:

• The processed output is generated locally and offered for download
• No file data is transmitted over the internet at any point
• When you close or refresh the page, all file data is cleared from memory

As of April 24, 2026, VideoSnap currently supports 11 tools: video conversion, video compression, video trimming, rotate and flip, video to GIF conversion, MP4 to MP3 conversion, video speed adjustment, video frame extraction, reverse video, image format conversion, and background removal.

4. Information We May Collect

While we do not collect personal data, we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve our service:

• Page views: Which tool pages are visited (no personal identifiers)
• Browser type: General browser and device information for compatibility improvements

Since your files never leave your device, the risk of data breach through our service is effectively zero. Your files are processed in an isolated browser environment and are cleared from memory when you close the page. We recommend using HTTPS (which our site enforces) for any web browsing.

VideoSnap does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, this policy applies universally.
