Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

1. Overview

VideoSnap operates videosnap.cc. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our browser-based video and image processing tools.

The most important thing to know: VideoSnap processes all files locally in your browser using advanced in-browser technology. Your video and image files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers. We do not have access to your files at any point during processing.

2. Information We Do Not Collect Through File Processing

VideoSnap does not upload, store, or process on our servers:

  • Your video or image files
  • File metadata, including names, sizes, EXIF data, or GPS coordinates
  • Processing results or output files
  • Personal information contained in your files, such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Account credentials, because we have no account system
  • Payment information, because the service is entirely free

3. How File Processing Works

All video and image processing on VideoSnap is performed using browser-based technology.

VideoSnap supports browser-based video and image tools such as video conversion, compression, trimming, rotation, frame extraction, collage creation, image conversion, watermarking, grid making, and background removal.

  • The file is loaded into your browser's local memory.
  • Processing is performed entirely on your device.
  • The processed output is generated locally and offered for download.
  • No file data is transmitted over the internet.
  • When you close or refresh the page, file data is cleared from memory.

4. Website Usage and Analytics Data

VideoSnap uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage, diagnose problems, and improve our tools. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers and may process technical and usage information. Analytics data is separate from the video and image files you process, which remain on your device and are not sent to these services.

  • Page and interaction data, such as visited pages, clicks, scrolling, and feature usage
  • Browser, device, operating system, language, screen, and general compatibility information
  • Referral source and approximate geographic region
  • Online identifiers and IP address data processed by the analytics providers; we do not receive your full IP address from Google Analytics

5. Cookies

VideoSnap uses cookies and browser storage for core website functionality, performance, analytics, and limited offline use after a page has loaded. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may set or read cookies and similar identifiers. Processing assets may be cached in your browser storage, but this does not contain your video or image files.

VideoSnap does not currently display third-party advertising. If we enable advertising in the future, advertising partners such as Google AdSense or other ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where permitted by law and your settings.

6. Advertising and Your Choices

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to VideoSnap or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to VideoSnap and/or other sites on the internet.

You can manage personalized ads through Google My Ad Center at https://myadcenter.google.com/. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. In regions where consent is required, VideoSnap will request consent before using advertising cookies that require consent.

7. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics helps us measure traffic and usage. Google may process data under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn about Google Analytics privacy controls at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand interactions through features such as session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, and scrolling. Microsoft may process data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

VideoSnap may load processing components from a CDN on first use. The CDN may log standard access information such as IP address and timestamp. After initial load, components are often cached locally, though future requests can occur because of cache expiration, version updates, browser settings, or manual cache clearing.

The site may also load external listing badges, images, or widgets. Their providers receive standard web request information, such as IP address, browser information, referring page, and request time. These external resources do not receive the contents of files processed with VideoSnap.

8. Data Security

Because your files are not transmitted from your device, the risk of file exposure through our service is very low. Files are processed in an isolated browser environment and cleared from memory when you close the page. Our site always uses HTTPS.

9. Children's Privacy

VideoSnap is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly request personal information from them. The website usage and analytics practices described in this policy apply to visitors generally.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Last updated date. Continued use of VideoSnap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
